So for my Digital Editing class, we learned how to run Photoshop. For our first assignment we were given this picture of a chair and asked to render it all on Photoshop. I confess that I didn't really spend that much time on this one.... So this is the outcome:
It really isn't too bad right? haha Let me just say, I've come a LONG way. So what I did was add a back leg and make it to scale with its positioning. Then put all the separate parts on their own layer and use the brush tool to fill in. I really should have added a shadow beneath the chair to show where the light was coming from.
We were given this lovely perspective and instructed to plug it into Photoshop and fix it up and put it all into a one point perspective. Seriously when my teacher told me I was all, how about we just not and say we did? Or just redraw it? How about that? haha I was not very excited to say the least. But once I was started putting all the objects on layers it all started getting in order and making sense.
Here we are! I pulled down the corner and straightened out the rug. I leveled down the ceiling and just overall cleaned up the lines.
Here's another part to the assignment. We had to go through and fix the colors and shadows. I admit, this one was a last minute fix up too. lol.
For this assignment we were supposed to insert images and keep pieces in their same spaces. I decided to put in a marble wall and mirror. Instead of a bookshelf I wanted a credenza thing. And isn't the herringbone floor amazing? Yeah I'm kinda obsessed.
For the last project we were supposed to pick our own drawing and completely fix it up in Photoshop. I did this drawing my second semester in my drawing class. I would have to put it into one point perspective and color in. I can insert pictures from the internet like the previous assignment but make sure it stays in the same spaces.
And here's the final! I inserted most of the images and moved them into perspective. Then I added shadows and made it look proportional. This was so fun! Seriously I wish I could live in here. I wanted it to have a feminine feel. I'm obsessing about herringbone flooring and have a restoration hardware feel. I love natural wood and iron pieces. But I also love tufted sofas and guilted mirrors. My favorite impressionist painting is on the right wall, by J.M.W. Turner called "Modern Rome - Camp Vaccino." Love itttttt.
Well if you read, thanks!
