Here I Go

Well here I am! I'm so excited to start up a blog again. I'm mainly doing this for my family who live in the distant land of California. I figured, well my mother actually did, that this would be the funniest/easiest way to keep updated, thus the creation of this blog. We'll see if I can keep up on it!

Here I am with my siblings. This picture was taken a couple weeks ago at Fishlake National Forest, UT. I went with my aunt and her family to our Hallen cabin to meet with my family for a couple days. It was so fun to be with them again. I'm still in denial about living here in the great Salt Lake. I've always dreamed about coming back here and now my dreams are coming true! Life here is such a blast. I live one block away from LDS Business College, a couple blocks from the Salt Lake Temple, a couple minutes from the malls, life is great. 

Another purpose for this blog is to show the projects I'm working on. I'm studying to become an Interior Designer. We undergo multiple projects, color boards, papers, but mainly hands on activities. Now that I'm in the middle of the semester, I've turned in many projects so I'll make a different post about those later. So far I've loved learning all the ins and outs of the ID program. The people here are super fun and friendly (yes the myth is true: everyone smiles here). I live with three awesome roommates. We have the greatest times. I can't wait to have many more adventures with these girls!
